SCHOOL PROFILE/DATA
A. Location, Relative Distance and Type of School
Heroesville Elementary School started it's operation in June 2013. The school is located in Heroesville 1 Housing Project of President Benigno S. Aquino III for the AFP-PNP personnel. The National Housing Authority (NHA) in partnership with the Department of Education completed the construction of One (1) unit, the three (3) storey 15 classroom (DepEd) Standard School Building to be utilized for school purposes.
HES is a Complete Non- Central Elementary School offering Kinder to Grade Six. It was primarily built to benefit the school children of the beneficiaries of the housing site. But since there is no existing school in the area. It has become the long-awaited dream of the people living in nearby subdivisions and sitios namely, Evergreen Heights Subdivision, Toyota Village at Sitio Tubigan, all part of Brgy. Gaya-Gaya. Indeed, the school became an answered prayer for an accessible and affordable education to the residents of the barangay.
B. Learning Environment
The school is situated in the heart of Heroesville, Barangay Gaya-Gaya, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. The school is facing a vast rice field and located near the Heroesville Subdivision's entrance gate. A small farm with fruit-bearing trees and green-leafy vegetables can also be found at the back of the school premises.
Students and Teachers use the front and backyard of the school as playground during Physical Education subject and sports training. It is also beneficial for EPP gardening and serve as a space for cooking contests.
C. Physical Environment / Ecological Profile
Barangay Gaya-Gaya is categorized as a plateau that is ideal for a residential area, commercial or even agricultural haven. With its agricultural areas and vast grasslands it is like a paradise situated in the midst of a city. Since the barangay is located near Caloocan City it is accessible to all means of land transportation to reach one of the nation's progressive cities. This leads to full advantage of the place because of strong investment current.
D. Economic Profile
Due to its proximity along Caloocan City which is one of the nation's advanced and highly - urbanized cities in terms of investments and job opportunities, the barangay also radiated with such leeway. It also paved the way to greater infrastructure development and construction of commercial establishments that give a par comfort of living and sophistication. In fact, the barangay is near SM City of San Jose del Monte, a newly opened mall which gave the people numerous job opportunities and life entertainment.
However, in spite of the people's contemporary or modern way of living, self-harvested fruits and vegetables, poultry products and meats from the barangay and nearby barangays can still be enjoyed and patronized from sidewalks or even in supermarkets. Luckily, locally - produced goods are not being compromised over the imported ones.

The barangay is miles away from the traditional or primitive ways of living. It already started to have modern gadgets, appliances and even high-valued cars that can easily be puchased from Star Mall or in SM City of San Jose del Monte Internet and communication connections are likewise improved.
